2nd Annual Genealogy Fair
Sussex
The day will be spend researching. For those of you who have books
for sale - tables will be available at no charge. Their will be a
door charge though to cover costs for renting hall, paying the PANB
to come. With the proceeds again going to the buying of microfilms.
The Microfilms have been ordered. (All of the Kings County Census
films) I have been going back and forth with the Federal Archives
and I hope finally the films will be in Soon... Ideas for either
church records, death certificates, ect..?? to get next.
If anyone is interested in a table either to share your families
history or to sell books please let me know. also, for some who need
more that one table also let me know so I can plan ahead.
deadline to book a table will be May 1st. (this way I have a idea of
how many to setup space ahead of time)

CD Release The Hill Brothers
Broadway Cafe`
The Hills have come through with a great new live CD and just in
time they are coming back to the Broadway after too long an abscence.
These Saint John blues men have put on some legendary performances
at the Cafe going back lots of years. They are in full form now
doing scorching electric blues through a bit of bontemps Zydeco and
even some old country swing or Chet Atkins finger picking. The Cafe
doors will be open for relaxing on the terrace between sets.

The Maritime Draft Horse Association Annual Dinner & Dance
Royal Canadian Legion, Sussex
Auctioneer Winston Steeves will be wielding the gavel for the
evening, while Lost Highway will be entertaining for the dance.
Tickets are $25 for a couple and $13 for a single ticket.
The MDHA is more than 15 years old and has approximately 40 members
scattered around the Atlantic Region. Its mandate is to promote the
use and breeding of draft horses while preserving the area’s proud
history with the draft animals.

People can come in and try out our new high-speed internet. Everyone
is welcome to drop by the centre to check it out.
We'll also have the Canada Winter Games mascots on hand at the
center from 10:00 to 10:30 AM-They will be handing out balloons and
brochures to all, as well as be available for taking pictures with
anyone interested.
